JUST, ALL THINGS TRENDY IN 2021

From the Y2K fashion becoming a trend to the micro-mini bags almost becoming a necessity. Remember when it started with Dalgona Coffee and Banana bread trending all over Instagram during the lockdown? Internet trends have become a huge part of everyone’s lives, off-lately.

Micro-mini Bags:

In the fashion world it started with Jacquemus’s Le Chiquito. His show in the north of France, ‘Soliel’ went viral because it was held in a field of wheat amidst a pandemic. Micro-mini bags have been on Instagram ever-since. Many brands offer their own twist on it.

Sage Green:

If Pantone says it’s the colour of the year, it is the colour of the year. We’re slowly starting to see a shift from Emerald Green to Sage Green. Think – Jade, crystals and healing energy. This colour has been adopted by many influencers globally may it be for nail art inspiration, a new pajama set or even choosing a colour for your walls at home.

Beach Jewelry:

What trends next once we’re done with the all silver and all gold fad? There comes Gold x colour oozing beads. We’re spotting tons of selfies on Instagram stacking gold chains with Y2K inspired beads.

Pastel Athleisure:

Athleisure – a style many criticise or end up loving. If styled correctly your sports-wear can make a great comfy work wear look. The key lies in wearing subtle shades and wide cuts. ‘The Giving Moment’ has been one such favourite amongst GCC influencers.

Small(er) Heels:

Yes ladies, you read that right. Believe it or not but small-medium sized heels are back in fashion and will soon find a way into your closet. They look chic and can be worn the whole day, jazzing up any plain outfit a notch. One such Lebanese footwear designer who has been training all over the internet lately is – Andrea Wazen, ever since she designed footwear for JLo, Kylie Jenner and Dua Lipa.
