Don’t want to go out? Surprisingly enough so many people think so! While going out for a fancy dinner at Hakkasan will always be a thing, there is nothing more relaxing as a refreshing tropical drink on a breezy December day, just at home – ya know.
If you are looking to host a dinner at home, or even a boozy brunch, read below Rubicon’s take on some easy mocktail recipes.
Rubicon are the pioneers of exotic fruit juice, have created a range of premium juices that are not only delicious to enjoy on their own, but can also be made into a tropical mocktail!
1) Tropical Mojito Mocktail
Passionate from miles away… Create a refreshing version of the classic mojito, with an exotic twist using Passion Fruit juice, elevating the drink to new tropical heights, *even* Drake would approve.
1. Shake the Passion Fruit Juice with lime wedges, sugar and mint
2. To a tall glass, add 5 lime wedges, 1 tbsp. sugar and 10 mint leaves. Muddle
3. Fill the glass with ice and stir to mix
4. Add more ice and 2 – 3 oz. sparkling water
5. Garnish with a mint sprig
2) Lychee Cooler
Lychees out in Georgia! Serve up the perfect balance of sweet, exotic and crisp, enjoy the Lychee cooler on lazy days when you crave a refreshing, sweet drink. Flavored with lychee, lime, and tarragon.
1. In a tall glass filled with ice add 6 oz. of Lychee Juice, 1 oz. lime juice, 1 oz. simple syrup, 3 oz. soda water
2. Stir to mix and garnish with a tarragon sprig
3) Tropicolada
Transport your taste buds to the tropical islands with Tropicolada, created using Rubicon Soursop Juice, also known as Guanabana. The tropical island favorite is known for its refreshing flavor and light, unique taste. Perfectly pair it with a decadent, coconut cream to create Tropicolada – an amazingly light variation of a virgin Colada.
1. To a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add, 6 oz. of Soursop Juice, 3 oz. coconut cream (or Pina Colada Mix), 0.25 oz. lime juice
2. Shake until frothy and strain into a glass filled with crushed ice
3. Garnish with a pinch of nutmeg and a strawberry slice
4) Red Shoes Pomegranate Margarita
There’s no place like home (or the beach)… The Red Shoes Margarita takes the classic, recognizable margarita one exotic step further by combining the fresh flavors of Pomegranate juice with fresh lime. This Rubicon variation is both beautifully-hued and tropically delicious, making you feel like you’re in a tranquil paradise!
1. In a shaker filled with ice, add 1 oz. lime juice, 4 oz. of Pomegranate Juice
2. Shake sharply and strain into an ice filled rocks glass rimmed with fresh lime and pink salt
3. Garnish with a rosemaryÂ
5) Mango Sangria
Blame it on the juice! This refreshing fruity drink is perfect for outdoor parties, taking the party-favorite and adding an exotic twist using Rubicon Sparkling Mango, chopped mangoes and mint leaves. Mango Sangria is sweet, easy to make, and presents beautifully.
1. To a pitcher, fill with desired amount of ice
2. Pour 2 cans of Rubicon 330ml Sparkling Mango
3. Finely chop and add 2 whole mangoes and mix
4. Add a splash of sofa
5. Garnish with 6-7 fresh mint leaves and mix
