American YouTuber and famous internet personality, Logan Paul has decided to diversify his range of investments and put a little interesting spin on it. After allowing room for advice from esteemed entrepreneur and speaker, Gary Vaynerchuk commonly known as Gary Vee, the 25-year-old YouTuber heavily invests over $200,000 into the game of collecting Pokemon cards.
“Nostalgia + business = the new art. Just bought an estate’s worth of Pokemon cards, most fun investment I’ve ever made (s/o @garyvee for pushing me!!)”, Logan expresses in his caption.
Collecting unique game cards including Pokemon has been a popular hobby for kids in the 90’s and early 2000’. In light of recent news, Logan views the art of card collection with a completely new eye, as a potential new business venture.
In a chat about sports cards with Gary Vee, Logan takes a deep dive into his childhood world which was in fact filled with it! Based on the conversation that bonded the two famous online personalities, Gary Vee encourages Paul to get involved in the world of card collection. In the short amount of time the YouTuber spent in collecting Pokemon cards, he has already invested about $200,000.
“Alright, I’m gonna do it. I love Pokemon. It shouldn’t be too hard.”, says the YouTuber in a report by Dexerto.
Although Logan holds high appreciation and worth for his card collection, he plans to sell a few packs from his $198,000 box! Paul’s fanbase as well as equally passionate card collectors can tune into the YouTuber’s live unboxing on October 9th at 6 p.m. PST.
One of the highest-grossing media franchises in history is Citing Pokemon’ place, according to Dexerto. In Logan’s recent card collecting business venture, he meets with other passionate collectors as well as learn more about the history and the grading scales of the cards. The YouTuber spends around $50,000 on individual cards and packs and furthermore, invests around $165,000 in a first-edition booster box.
Logan Paul has definitely been through a rollercoaster in his digital journey and has reinvented his image to an extent.
