It’s no secret that Aerie, a female clothing brand owned by American Eagle, is always focused on promoting diversity, different ideas of beauty and most importantly, self-love. These efforts continue with the launch of the brand’s newest Arab role model program, which especially aims to empower women by choosing three powerful and influential Arab female figures: Ascia, Hadeel Marei and Logina Salah.
The first of the three relatable Middle Eastern dream team is Logina Salah who is all about spreading skin-positivity and breaking the taboos that exist when it comes to Vitiligo, which is a condition that disrupts the melanin production in certain regions of the skin. She is currently an inspiration for Arab women who now have someone who looks like them be as successful as Logina is; a true influencer indeed.
The digital figure shared the celebrations that went on behind the scenes with her new Aerie family in the following post:
Ascia is another influencer who deserves to be a part of this movement as she shares the same values that Aerie aims to spread. The Kuwaiti blogger and model is often seen raising awareness about matters related to Middle Eastern women, especially the issues and gender bias they face on a daily basis.
Finally, Hadeel Marei completes the list. The comedian regularly highlights the beauty of curvy women, spreading body positivity in most of the content that she publishes.
Through this collaboration with Aerie, the beautiful trio will get the chance to truly take on the role of an influencer and role model by using their voice to continue to raise awareness about issues that truly matter on a larger scale and also promote the brand along the way.
