Twitter is working hard to fight users that promote hateful and racist content on the platform.
A few weeks ago, Twitter started stripping verification badges from individuals promoting racism and hate speech.
Yesterday, it suspended the accounts of two far-right British leaders.
It also extended its policies to include banning hateful imagery and user conduct, both on the platform and in real life. It will also suspend any accounts where profile information includes violent, racist, fearful or sexist threats.
In the past few years, Twitter has had to deal with its fair share of offensive content.
These new rules are a much needed step in the right direction, when it comes to combatting hate speech on social media.
