Barack Obama has been announced as the commencement speaker for YouTube's Virtual Graduation Ceremony

Last week, Facebook announced its virtual graduation ceremony for the Class of 2020, with a commencement by Oprah Winfrey and this week, YouTube has announced their own virtual ceremony with Barack Obama, former US President, serving as their commencement speaker.

As graduation ceremonies around the world have been cancelled or postponed due to COVID-19, the social media giants have taken it upon themselves to give the Class of 2020 a virtual ceremony they will never forget.

As announced via their Twitter, the line-up of speakers and talent at YouTube’s virtual grad ceremony is spectacular.

From Barack and Michelle Obama to Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys, viewers can expect a super starstudded ceremony.

YouTube will hold its virtual graduation event on June 6th, while Facebook’s event will be on May 15th.
