A video on TikTok went viral after a bison was seen charging towards a woman who filmed the whole thing.
Rebecca Clark, a TikToker from Texas has 4503 followers and usually gets around a few thousand likes. Her TikTok videos are very casual and lifestyle based until one day Rebecca uploaded a horrifying video. Solo hiking at Caprock Canyons State Park and Trailway in Texas, Rebecca records a video of three bison’s walking past her as she says to them “come on, keep on going, I just want to get by, okay, thank you, I appreciate it.” As the fearless TikToker walks past, she keeps the camera on the bison’s before one turns around and heads straight towards her. The video then goes funny as Rebecca runs for her life into a bush, screaming into the camera.
@rebeccaclark Solo hiking at Caprock Canyons State Park & Trailway in Texas. I was charged and gored by a bison because I was to CLOSE to be passing them on a trailway They are beautiful creatures protected by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) and are a part of the Texas State Bison Restoration Project where the park has restored the historic Charles Goodnight Bison herd (The Official Texas State Bison Herd) to a portion of its former range in the park. I am posting to support safety while enjoying Texas State Parks #TPWD #bisonetiquette101 #hikingsafety #llbean #chaos #rei ♬ dumb dumb – sped up – mazie
From watching the video, it looks like Rebecca had previously been through the same ordeal as she also says in the video “I didn’t want to go through the bushes again.” The short video received a staggering 2.1 million views, 325.5 thousand likes and 711 comments in less than a week. After millions had seen the video, they wanted to know what had happened after Rebecca had been rushed into a bush. She explains in a follow-up video that she was rammed on her back and thrown into a mesquite bush, laying in it for 50 minutes until she received help and ushered into a helicopter, and into a nearby hospital.
@rebeccaclark I am okay! Thank you for all your concerns and to tell you the truth your humor as well. I'm on the road to recovery after a run-in with a bison at Caprock Canyon State Park. #caprockcanyonsstatepark #TPWD #hikingsafety ♬ Asking Alll Them Questions Tik – AmongMemes
Although Rebecca had a hole in her back and had to get stitches to recover, she was grateful for the support and messages she received by many. It’s interesting a nice, peaceful walk can change in a matter of minutes.
