On Sunday, the 39-year-old pop artist, Katy Perry tweeted photographs and video snippets with her about 206 million followers after chatting with her mother, Mary Christine.
Katy Perry frequently chooses to keep her daughter Daisy Love Bloom out of the spotlight.
However, the coming of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12, created a moment of pride as the singer, 39, rushed to social media to express her excitement about the arrival of her 3-year-old son.
“Today, I informed my mother that the day I discovered how much she loved me, I had my own daughter, Daisy Dove… There is nothing like a mother’s love. Never take things for granted… ‘Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and caregivers, whatsoever way you come,’ Perry wrote.
She also shared descriptions of the five stages of her pregnancy with three-year-old Daisy Dove.

Perry wrote, “1. Og pee stick! 2. Telling O I was pregnant (he was filming in Prague) 3. Telling my brothers @lukebryan @lionelrichie the big news on set in Hawaii at #idol 4. Hearing Daisy’s heartbeat for the first time 5-10: Some bump pics from before I met my Daisy Dove”
Perry then presented her pregnancy test findings.
The “Firework” singer gave birth to her daughter in August 2020 and announced her birth through UNICEF, an organization for which Perry and Bloom, 47, are Goodwill Ambassadors.
The couple, who got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2019, said in their announcement on their website, “We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter.”
Next was ‘Telling O I was pregnant (he was filming in Prague)’, a reference to her 47-year-old fiancé Orlando Bloom. A screenshot showed Orlando smiling while on a video call with Katy.

Katy shared a video in which she tells Luke Bryan, 47, and Lionel Richie, 74, that she is’very pregnant’ while receiving hugs from her fellow American Idol judges.
Her fourth post, ‘Hearing Daisy’s heartbeat for the first time,’ featured a video of Katy happy while watching a prenatal scan.
Katy also shared “some bump pics from before I met my Daisy Dove.”
