Professional MMA fighter Conor McGregor wishes his Muslim followers a Ramadan Kareem on Twitter

As Ramadan started on the evening of April 1st, Conor McGregor, aka “The Notorious”, did not miss the opportunity to greet his followers on Twitter and show his appreciation for two of his favorite Middle Eastern cities.

The professional UFC fighter also included some snapshots of his favorite times in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, showcasing the beautiful interior of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the futuristic exterior of the Museum of the Future as well as the renowned Atlantis resort.

Every year, celebrities and influencers from around the globe such as McGregor take this initiative to address their fans, get up close and personal with them and show their respect for different cultures and traditions.

The holy month is expected to come to a close on May 1st, which would signify that Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on Sunday 2 May.
