Despite speculation that the Barbie movie would not be shown in cinemas due to a delay in its release, it has been confirmed by United Arab Emirates Media Regulatory Office that the film will release in full all across the country.
In a statement to Lovin Dubai, the Media Regulatory Office stated that “After completing the follow-up procedures for cinematic films, approval was granted to show Barbie in cinemas in the country, according to the standards of media content and age classification approved by the Emirates Media Council.”
This means the Barbie movie will be available for viewing in cinemas on August 31st, 2023.
