Oscars 2022: celebs raise the fashion bar for the red carpet and after-party

It’s not called Hollywood’s biggest night for nothing.

Surprisingly enough, Will Smith slapping Chris Rock isn’t the only highlight of this year’s Oscars. The star-studded event once again has us obsessing over the iconic looks by the world’s biggest actors and celebrities, who all brought their A-game to walk the red carpet.

The glamorous looks; however, weren’t only for show. Some actors, such as Best Actor nominee Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Lee Curtis and Jason Momoa who took it upon themselves to implicitly speak up about global matters. The talented actors all showed up with a reference to the Ukrainian flag in their outfits to express their support to the Ukrainian people during these trying times.

We also cannot but mention Arab designers, who once again have made it to the Oscars and ended up having their names stamped on the best-dressed list. Both celebrities and fashion designers have made it extra hard for us to pick our favorites from the 94th Academy Awards, but we’ve managed to put together some of the looks that successfully stole the spotlight.
