Karen Wazen talks all things fashion at the Mall of Qatar and Harper’s Bazaar event – House of Bazaar. The event opened with a welcoming speech from Emile Sarkis Mall of Qatar General Manager, Bianca Brigitte Bonomi Publisher Harper’s Bazaar Qatar, and H.E. The Ambassador of Italy to the State of Qatar, Alessandro Prunes.
After the introductions, there was a Salam Stores Fashion Live Tablaeu styled by Bazaar’s Nour Bou Ezz, and then From Catwalk to Qatar. The question of how do stylists go about curating their new season wardrobes was answered by leading ladies including Harper’s Bazaar Publisher, Bianca Brigitte Bonomi, Senior Stylist at Al Jazeera, Reina Bouchakra, Image Consultant and Stylist at the Stars of Science TV show, Elisabete Reis, and Harper’s Bazaar Market Editor, Nour Bou Ezz. All leading women discussed trends, colours, and how to dress for your body shape giving useful tips to the audience.
Influencer, Designer, fashion icon, and mother, Karen Wazen opened up with publisher Bianca Bonomi about her multifaceted life and her pure love for all things fashion. Not only did Karen look absolutely flawless in an electric blue gown and sleek back ponytail, but she spoke about personal events that had happened in her life that influenced her brand. Karen shared her story about the insecurity she had with her eyes as she was growing up which is how her eyewear brand developed. During the interview, she quoted how she felt “good, powerful and confident” wearing sunglasses and now witnesses “beautiful women wearing my shades across the world.”
