The current stars of TikTok, Charli D’Amelio and her sister Dixie D’Amelio recently announced their secret podcast project that has been in the works for a while! With almost 200 million combined followers on TikTok, the D’Amelio sisters, Charli (16), and Dixie (19), are soon launching their new podcast ‘Charli & Dixie: 2 Chix’, on October 8th.
“Excited for everyone to listen in while we cover interesting topics, share stories, tackle difficult conversations, engage with guests that we either love or completely disagree with – and of course, it’s all filled with nonstop sister banter”, expressed the sisters in a statement.
The Gen Z creators have absolutely dominated the TikTok world, and have gathered thousands of fans globally! While Charli is a competitive dancer and mainly posts dance videos on recent trends as well as short vlogs, Dixie enjoys singing and posts content that lies more on the comedic side.
As reported by Variety, podcast producer Ramble stated, “Fans will have the opportunity to really discover who Charli & Dixie D’Amelio are as individuals, daughters, sisters, friends and stars.”
Ramble also expresses how the teen influencers will chat about “the trends that are lighting up their social channels, what truly excites and inspires them, including the causes they support.” The sisters strongly stand for Anti-bullying and have teamed with impactful organizations including UNICEF to shed light on important issues.
The digital fame has truly opened doors and brought multiple opportunities for the D’Amelio sisters ever since they blew up the platform over the last year. Not only did the teenagers land a stunning partnership with Morphe, with their makeup line launch, they also partnered with Orosa Beauty, Dunkin Donuts, Hollister, etc. Dixie also got to follow her passion for music by signing a record label with HitCo. In addition, Charli had made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Charli & Dixie: 2 Chix will stream every Thursday, starting October 8th on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Radio.com and other podcasting platforms.
