The social networking app LinkedIn has added a new link sticker option on posts to drive traffic from your in-app updates.
Why?
Linkedin like every other app is always updating its feature to create a better user experience. The new link sticker will drive traffic external traffic to your profile, increasing reach and opening your profile to different audiences.
How to use it
Once you have created your LinkedIn post, you can add the link sticker anywhere on the image, increasing or decreasing the size to fit your frame. The sticker is the same as how you would like a product in your Instagram or Facebook stories and is another way of generating views.
As a business, this is a great way to direct your users onto products and influencers, it is brilliant for affiliate marketing or to direct users to another social media profile like YouTube, for example, to subscribe to your channel.
Mobile only
This new feature that LinkedIn has introduced is only available on the app for now. It is also very limited on the way it looks on the page as LinkedIn is testing to see how well the link tap option will work. You can, however, add links to pictures and videos depending on what you are uploading, sparking new creative opportunities.
