The two-week-long film festival has stars from all across the world gracing the beautiful city of Venice. La Biennale di Venezia is organising the 79th International Venice Film Festival, and Alberto Barbera is the director of the Festival this year. The Festival is dedicated “to raise awareness and promote international cinema in all its forms as art, entertainment and as an industry, in a spirit of freedom and dialogue.” It is the perfect platform for movie lovers and fashion enthusiasts across the globe.
The Festival will be screening some fantastic films this year, including the much-awaited Harry Styles and Florence Pugh starrer, Don’t Worry Darling. Other notable films include the Blonde, Bones and All, The Whale, Beyond the Wall and White Noise.
The red carpet has been nothing short of enthralling this year, with actors, influencers and talented personalities making their presence known. While the movies have been many, onlookers have been extremely excited about the fashion that is part of the carpet and events at the Festival.

Nojoud Alrumaihi
Nojoud Alrumaihi is a Saudi-based social media influencer with over 549K followers on Instagram. With specialised knowledge in brand engineering and creating content, Nojoud is a talented young woman with a huge audience in the GCC.

Aya Mohamed
Better known as @milanpyramid, Aya is an Egyptian influencer based in Milan who creates fashion and beauty content. As she told HarpersBazaarArabia, she’s been searching “for representation and inclusion in the media, but it was impossible. That’s when (she) felt like (she) needed to take the situation into my hands first of all for (her), and for everyone else who shares the same feelings”.
As Aya walks the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival, she shines in a stunning Valentino gown. She was invited by Cartier and was at the premiere of Argentina 1985.
Raya Abirachad
Raya is popularly known for her role as the host of Scoop with Raya and is also the Candidate spotter for Arabs Got Talent. She is a Lebanese mega influencer with over 5 million followers on her Instagram. Raya stunned the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival in an elegant white chiffon dress from Zuhair Murad’s couture for the screening of Argentina 1985. She was also at the premiere of Cate Blanchett’s TÀR.
Hadia Ghaleb
Hadia Ghaleb is a Dubai-based influencer and entrepreneur with over 2 million followers on Instagram. She is known for launching an inclusive swimwear line under the Hadia Ghaleb Label. She made her debut at the Venice Film Festival in Tony Ward couture this year. The mousseline sequined dress had everyone in awe as she attended the Festival.
Can Yaman
Turkish actor and mega influencer Can Yaman was attending the Filming Italy Best Movie Achievement Award at the Festival. The star wore Dolce&Gabbana and has already been crowned as the best-dressed man in Venice! Emma Chamberlain
The mega influencer, YouTuber and social media star Emma Chamberlain adorned a gorgeous vintage Roberto Cavalli gown on the Venice Film Festival red carpet. Catherine Poulain
