Klimt and the Impressionists
The Theatre of Digital Art, with the support of the Belvedere Museum and the Crypto Oasis, brings a beautiful art exhibition that features the incredible work of “Klimt and The Impressionists”, further revolutionising the reach of impressionism and modern masterpieces in Dubai. From March 1st to March 15th, be enchanted by the creations of seven renowned impressionists: Gustav Klimt, Edouard Manet, Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, August Renoir, Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, and Henri Rousseau.
The Experience
The 55-minute exhibition allows the audience to fully immerse themselves in the paintings that started an entire revolution. Come and experience the best of the impressionist era with “The Luncheon on the Grass” (Manet), “Dance At The Moulin De La Galette” (Renoir), “Woman With a Parasol” (Monet), “L’Absinth” (Degas), “The Dream” (Rousseau), and “At The Moulin Rouge” (Toulouse-Lautrec). Walk in any time of the day and transport yourselves back to the 1800s on an empty canvas that uses bold brushstrokes, vibrant hues, and a fusion of neo-classical and classical music in the background.
The exhibition focuses on “The Kiss” by Austrian art genius; Gustav Klimt who is also the show’s centerpiece. TODA along with Belvedere Museum has announced an NFT drop to own a piece of “The Kiss.” The iconic painting that symbolises “lovers” was sectioned in a 100 x 100 grid, creating 10,000 distinctive individual pieces; that are being offered as a limited edition to purchase as a non-funding table token (NFT). Consumers can now be a part of Klimt’s legacy and own a high-resolution digital copy of “This Kiss,” available for purchase at a unit price of 1,850 euros.
