In the past, the NFL has partnered with multiple social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat to bring its content to a wider audience. Notably – their partnership with TikTok broke the platform’s 2019 record for fastest-growing sports league account. Due to the success of these social media partnerships, the NFL is now closing in on the invite-only audio app Clubhouse.
Sean Brown – Head of Sports Partnerships at Clubhouse – officially welcomed the NFL to Clubhouse and shared how the new partnership would be a hot topic amongst Clubhouse creators and football fans alike:
“The NFL’s commitment to innovation is matched only by their devotion to their fans and we are proud to welcome the NFL to Clubhouse. The Draft is one of the biggest events of the year for football fans, and we know that millions of creators will be discussing, debating and celebrating throughout the week”.
