Instagram’s new feature will allow you to promote new launches & reach more people

Introducing Instagram Ads.

Advertising on social media has many benefits for businesses and influencers looking to reach more people and promote their work/product. Firstly, it can improve your brand’s awareness, engages with different audiences, can boost website traffic, impacts sales and conversion rates, and much more. Instagram has announced a new feature update that involves Instagram ads to help users discover new brands, products, and/or upcoming events. There are two ways that the platform is introducing ads and those are Reminder ads and ads in Search Results. In this article, we will explore both options.

Reminder Ads

Any creators or brands are able to create Instagram posts with reminders for upcoming events. Those who see the event which could be show premieres, sporting events, etc will be able to click on the bell icon on the bottom left corner of the post which will automatically opt them into receiving reminders.

These Reminder ads help to build awareness, and anticipation for upcoming occasions. Here is how you can create Instagram posts with reminders:

  1. Create a new Instagram Feed post.
  2. Under New Post, tap Add Reminder.
  3. Input your Event Title and select your Start Time. You can also include an options End Time.
  4. Finish creating your post and tap Share.

Ads in Search Results

One thing that Instagram has also been working on is ads in Search Results. Instagram is introducing ads in search results to reach people actively searching for businesses, products, and content.

These advertisements will appear in your feed with the ability to scroll as you have tapped into a post from the search results. There are no set plans of when this is going to be launched, but Instagram has said it will be completed and launched globally within the “coming months.”
