Twitter opens creator applications to test Ticketed Spaces and Super Follows feature

Twitter has commenced its application process to test their upcoming creator monetization features, Super Follows, and Ticketed Spaces. The social media firm will be selecting a limited number of U.S creators to share their feedback before the features are publicly launched in the coming months.

In a recent blog post, Twitter shared the announcement welcoming creators to try out their features:

“Twitter is where people go to have real conversations about what’s happening. It’s a place where people can express themselves authentically and share their unfiltered thoughts in the moment. We’re working on ways for people driving those conversations to earn money from audience support and engage their followers in a new way. Starting today, you can apply to be one of the first to try Ticketed Spaces and Super Follows with your audience.”

Ticketed Spaces helps creators to charge a certain ticket fee to provide their subscribers exclusive access to their live audio sessions. Moreover, the Super Follows feature allows creators to charge a monthly subscription fee for new exciting content such as newsletters, product discounts and more.

To check if you’re eligible for the program, you can send in your application by tapping on “Monetization” at the sidebar on Twitter. The Ticketed Spaces feature will be available for iOS and Android users while Super Follows is for iOS users only.
