Social media influencers Addison Rae and Benito Skinner will be featured in Charli XCX’s new podcast Best Song Ever. The BBC Radio 1 podcast will also include other well-known stars DJ Mark Ronson, singer-songwriter Beabadoobee, actress Barbie Ferreira, director Edgar Wright, Charli’s best friend and singer Christine and the Queens.
Charli XCX revealed that her Best Song Ever podcast will be focusing on all things related to music and how she’s done with being “authentic”:
“To be honest, I think I’m done with being authentic. The podcast came about because I really love talking to people. And I’m in a really lucky situation in life, where I’m surrounded by so many different people who get to do so many different things and have varying experiences of music. It’s about getting to know them and using the songs as jumping-off points.”
The 20 episode podcast series Best Song Ever will be premiering on Spotify today with Christine and the Queens.
