This New Limited Edition Luxury iPhone X Is "Gulf Inspired"

Would you spend over Dhs15,000 on an iPhone X???

Most of us would think that’s a crazy price, but if you have a taste for the finer things in life it could be tempting.

A Russian luxury company – appropriately named Caviar – released a series of limited edition “gulf-themed”  iPhones. And they’re pretty boujee.

The smartphones boast GCC-inspired, gold-plated designs along the back and sides of the phone’s body. It’s also decorated with scenes of mosques and prominent GCC countries with details highlighted in diamond, black mother of pearl, malachite and onyx.

And that’s not all.

According to ITP.net “… each [iPhone] features the country’s crest in gold-plated relief, with the country’s name also in gold. The back panel of the phone is made of glossy black mother of pearl, to symbolize oil wealth of the countries.”

The series also boasts representations of three famous mosques, the Al-Haram mosque in Mecca; the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi Mosque in Medina; and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

Here in the GCC, we love all things luxury.

So… it doesn’t surprise us that Caviar would create a phone design bespoke to the region.

Better start saving those dirhams…
