Troye Sivan has released an extended version of ‘could cry just thinkin about you’. The song was previously launched in his latest EP album In A Dream as an interlude.
Sivan revealed on Instagram that the song shares a time in his life when he felt his life fall apart:
“I wrote this song crying in my kitchen just as life started to fall apart a bit. Recorded the vocal there n then, and put it as an interlude on the EP. now..surprise! could cry just thinking about you (Full Version) is out on all streaming platforms,”
The In a Dream album is Sivan’s fifth album that premiered in August 2020. The album features popular singles such as ‘Take Yourself Home’, ‘Easy’ and ‘Rager Teenager!’. In the album, Sivan opens up about his struggle with getting over a serious breakup, body-image and many more:
“A story that’s still unfolding, this small collection of songs explores an emotional rollercoaster period in my life when the feelings and thoughts were most shockingly fresh. Revisiting these songs and moments is tough, but I’m proud of this music and excited to have it out in the world.”
