Thinking of doing the Kiki Challenge? Think again

Dubai Police warns against grave consequences to those attempting viral dance

Unless you've thrown your phone into the sea or gone on some kind of social media abstinence - you probably won't have missed the viral phenomenon that has been the #inmyfeelingschallenge, saturating your newsfeeds to the infectious beat of Drake over the last fortnight.

However, the challenge  - which, in its proper form involves the challenger stepping out of a moving vehicle and dancing beside - has been recently outlawed by the Dubai Police as it can endanger road users.

As a result, performing what has been coined as the 'Kiki Challenge' has been decreed as a serious traffic violation, punishable by up to Dhs2000 and 23 black points, as well as vehicle impounding for 60 days. 

Surely, a punishment that no amount of Insta likes is worth risking for, eh folks?
