So, who is the adorable @kobe_yn on Instagram? His real name is Kobe Wian, he is almost two years old and he went viral on Instagram for cooking with his mom. His parents manage his Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook and he is bringing smiles to people’s faces all around the world.
He first started on Instagram in February 2020 and until April 2020 he only had 200 followers! The family did not anticipate their adorable son to get this much attention but then it started jumping to 100K, 200K, 500K, and now he is currently at 2.5 million followers on Instagram.
He helps his mom prepare a range of recipes from mac and cheese to Mongolian beef to pizza with “commentary” and tasting every ingredient as he goes along.
Kobe’s mother, Ashley Wian, told CNN in an interview, “he investigates new ingredients, feels new textures, learns practical skills like pouring, scooping and measuring… Yes it gets messy but that’s it. A mess is just a mess! It can be cleaned! The memories we make will last forever!” It sure does get messy, but it is worth the cuteness from Chef Kobe!
The verified baby chef has a brand deal with Hello Fresh and is receiving a lot of gifts from other brands for him to include on his page such as Chichos Pizza, Hormel Pepperoni, Skippy, and more.
He even got approval from the infamous Gordon Ramsey and he is now one of Kobe’s followers on Instagram. Even celebrity chef Rachel Ray posted Kobe on her Instagram, praising his culinary skills and cuteness!
