The FBI raided the California home of Jake Paul in relation to an ongoing investigation.

Controversial YouTube star, Jake Paul’s house searched by FBI

In May, Jake Paul was arrested for trespassing and charged with a criminal misdemeanor during a George Floyd protest in Scottsdale Fashion Square.

On Wednesday, the FBI raided Jake Paul’s houses in both Calabasas and Las Vegas, in relation to an ongoing investigation related to his arrest earlier in May in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Ariel footage from the scene shows the FBI walking down the driveway of Jake’s Calabasas house holding rifles and other firearms.

The search was carried out by around 20 FBI agents who showed up to the YouTuber’s house in armored trucks. A spokesperson from the FBI’s Los Angeles office told CBS News in an email she was “prohibited” from commenting on the evidence they are looking for or have found as the “affidavit supporting the warrant was sealed by the court.”

Only Jake Paul’s attorney has spoken on the incident saying, “we are still gathering information and will cooperate with the investigation.”  As it appears the 23-year-old was not at his Calabasas home at the time of the search. No arrests have been made or planned yet.

A friend of Jake Paul, Arman Izadi, claims via Instagram stories that the house raid is in relation to the Arizona investigation.

The YouTube star seems to always be in some type of trouble with the law, in July he was under fire by the Mayor of Calabasas for throwing a huge party while COVID-19 cases skyrocketed, guests were not wearing masks or social distancing.

What do you think Jake Paul’s house was being raided for?
