Jacob Elordi (Noah) and Joey King (Elle) were dating in real life during the first movie, but they are exes now and continue to have the roles of Noah and Elle. In a recent interview with variety, Jacob admitted, “I haven’t seen it. You’ve seen more than I have” he continued, “I don’t know if I’m allowed to say that, but I haven’t.”
It seems like Joey wasn’t too happy, she responded via twitter “Jacob watched it, he’s capping.” Which translates to he’s lying. Since then the tweet has been deleted… not sure what that is supposed to mean.
There have been so many rumors speculating whether Joey and Jacob are back together or if she is dating fellow co-star Taylor Zakhar Perez (Marco).
Joey addressed all of the fan’s rumors in an interview on The Howard Stern Show, explaining why she’s sworn off dating fellow actors. She said, “No. I couldn’t, I think that it’s awesome to date someone in your field, who gets it, but doing the same exact thing as somebody is tough. It’s really tough.”
After the film’s release Joey and Taylor went on vacation together to celebrate, Taylor didn’t let fans speculate for too long before addressing their relationship status saying, there is nothing romantic going on and they have become best friends.
