A number of people came together to celebrate the life of basketball legend, mentor and father, Kobe Bryant, including Lebron James, Alex Rodriguez, and more.
Celebs took to social media to celebrate Bryant’s birthday on Sunday and “Mamba Day” on Monday, the 24th of August, to commemorate his former jersey numbers 24 and 8.
Murals honoring Kobe Bryant have popped up around the world especially in the Lakers hometown, downtown L.A. 331 murals around the world, 267 in the U.S. and 64 internationally.
Nike put together an emotional video with Kendrick Lamar performing a passionate word piece. Including videos of Kobe’s early career, NBA highlights, inspiring words said by him, first moments and more.
Kobe’s wife, Vanessa Bryant, took to Instagram to share an emotional message to her late husband. As well as, his daughter, Natalia Bryant, who remembered their late-night drives, big bear hugs and laughter.

Lebron James took to Instagram to post a touching tribute to Kobe Bryant, an old video of James singing happy birthday to Bryant on his 30th while he was holding his daughter Gigi.
Pau Gasol, Kobe’s former Lakers teammate writes an emotional message along with a video on Instagram to say how much he misses Kobe and Gigi.
Other celebs such as, Rob Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Alex Rodriguez wish Kobe Bryant a happy birthday.
