Ashley Nicolette, professionally known as Halsey, drops a sentimental video for her song ‘929’ from her third album Manic. “I really was born on 9:29am on 9/29. You think I’m lying but I’m being dead serious,” Halsey quotes in the beginning of her video.

Directed by Peter Donaghy, the video travels back in time and features heart-warming footage of young Halsey living in her childhood along with her family. Fans get to see a glimpse of the artists’ life through clips of what her “home” was in her childhood bedroom, going on memorable trips with her family and her journey with music, that are displayed on a projector screen and vintage TV’s!

929 takes Halsey fans on a trip down the memory lane, showcasing the different stages of Halsey’s life, from her childhood to what her life is like today. Her fans try to interpret 929 and are quick to express their thoughts about the nostalgic piece.
