It’s been a whirlwind year of romance for Emma Stone. Following an engagement and quiet wedding to Saturday Night Live writer Dave McCary, the couple are now reportedly expecting their first child, People reports.
While Emma and Dave have yet to confirm the pregnancy directly, sources shared the news with both Entertainment Tonight and People. “It’s been so nice for them to be home and have this time together before the baby,” a source told ET. “They’re going to be the best parents; they are both great with kids and they make such a great team.”
News of the pregnancy comes a few months after fans theorized that Dave and Emma had quietly gotten married. Much of the speculation stemmed from Emma swapping out her engagement ring for a new wedding band, which was first spotted when she shared in an interview with Reese Witherspoon. A source with People later confirmedthe reported marriage.
It’s clear that the couple definitely prefers their rightful privacy, so for now, speculation and rumors regarding a pregnancy will remain unconfirmed. However, E! News pointed out that Emma has spoken about her desire to have kids in the past, saying, “My perspective about kids has changed as I’ve gotten older. I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was like, I’m never getting married, I’m never having kids…And then I got older and I was like, I really want to get married, I really want to have kids.”
Hollywood actor Emma Roberts has become the first pregnant woman to grace the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine.
Roberts, 29, is expecting her first child — a baby boy — with boyfriend Garrett Hedlund, which she first announced to fans in August.
The “American Horror Story” star appears on the US front cover in a pink long-sleeve crop top and skirt.
Roberts, who is Julia Roberts’ niece, told Danler she is hungry and tired but having a healthy pregnancy.
“To see my body change inside and out so drastically has been a wild experience. Surprising and beautiful,” she said. “Then again, some days I feel like I’m being hijacked by something.”
Roberts said she remembers begging her mother to have another child, and enjoying the eventual arrival of her younger sister.
“The day she brought my sister home from the hospital, I remember holding her, wanting to dress and play with her,” she said.
Roberts shared that there were doubts whether she could even get pregnant after she was diagnosed with endometriosis in her late twenties, and she froze her eggs as a precaution.
“It sounds cheesy, but the moment that I stopped thinking about it, we got pregnant,” she said. “But even then, I didn’t want to get my hopes up. Things can go wrong when you’re pregnant.”
Roberts shared the cover with fans on Instagram Wednesday, and thanked Cosmopolitan for having her as the magazine’s first pregnant cover.
