In a new Super Bowl ad, which debuted ahead of the highly anticipated game against the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the father-daughter duo showed off their dancing skills for Scotts & Miracle-Gro.
John famously performed the dance in a scene from his iconic 1978 movei Grease, alongside Olivia Newton John.
The new dance sees him team up with Ella, 20, his daughter with late wife Kelly Preston, as they advertise the lawn product.

Then the father-daughter duo performed the dance to the Surfaces song Sunday Best that became popular in 2020 on TikTok.
It’s not the first time the pair have showcased their dance floor skills on social media.
Back in August, John shared a video of himself waltzing with Ella in memory of his late wife Kelly.
After she was diagnosed with breast cancer, the actor’s wife lost her battle at the age of 57 in July 2020.
In celebration of her life and her love of dance, John twirled his daughter to jazz music in the sweet video.
Martha Stewart is also featured in the commercial and comments on John’s dancing skills, saying, “He’s still got it.” The Office’s Leslie David Baker, NASCAR driver Kyle Busch, Carl Weathers and more stars too appear in the ad.
