Nadine Nassib Njeim – a high-profile Lebanese actress and model – has announced her second official collaboration with M.A.C Cosmetics. Last year – Njeim partnered with M.A.C. to release the Mosaic Masterpiece collection – which was a huge commercial success. Njeim made the announcement via her Instagram account:
The limited-edition range ‘Black Cherry Collection’ will launch on March 10 across M.A.C stores – both physical and digital. The 15-piece collection features a mascara, lip primer, three lipsticks, four lip balms, four blushers and a fixing spray – which are all encased in striking Japanese Cherry Blossom packaging.
In an interview with Vogue Arabia, Njeim shares her excitement about her recent collaboration:
“I have been using the brand for years and I am so excited to continue my partnership with mac cosmetics for the black cherry campaign. I loved the whole idea of the black cherry collection, it’s perfect for spring and I am also in love with the packaging”.
The year prior, Njeim and M.A.C collaborated and launched the Mosaic Masterpiece Collection. M.A.C cites Njeim’s “authentic nature, powerful voice for female self-expression, and being 100% unapologetically herself” as being the reasons for choosing her as the face of its Middle Eastern launch.
The former Miss Lebanon is the most followed Lebanese actress on Instagram – with 12 million followers – and often uses her large platform to discuss social and political issues. For example, Njeim showed her support of Lebanon’s nation-wide protests following the horrific Beirut explosion:
Her strong personality and career achievements – which include successful campaign collaborations with brands like Bvlgari and Makeup Forever MENA – make Njeim a no-brainer choice to be the face of M.A.C’s new Black Cherry Collection in the Middle East.
