Harper’s Bazaar Saudi reveals 3 Stunning Covers on International Women’s Day ahead of their March 2021 launch.

Harper’s Bazaar Saudi has just released 3 stunning covers ahead of their March 2021 launch. Harper’s Bazaar Arabia revealed the covers on their Instagram yesterday to commemorate International Women’s Day.

In honor of being the first international women’s title in KSA – all 3 Saudi covers capture the raw power of the fearless Saudi women revolutionizing the Saudi fashion scene: in this new digital age, Saudi women have used social media as a vehicle to rally change and to empower other Arab women – a sentiment that Harper’s Bazaar Saudi seeks to capture.

Harper’s Bazaar Saudi’s first cover features Taleedah Tamer – the first Saudi model to walk a couture runway in Paris and to be on the cover of an International magazine. Tamer – who is pictured running down a sandy desert hill in an elegant, puffy gown –  is a major symbol of ‘firsts’ for the new publication and marks an exciting, new chapter for both the magazine and the large community of Saudi women ready to rally change from 2021 onwards.

Taleedah Tamer makes a second cover feature and is pictured walking alone across the expansive landscape of the north-western corner of Saudi Arabia. The cover can be interpreted as the long road Saudi women must follow to achieve full female equality and empowerment – and that this journey can sometimes feel alone and isolating.

The third and final Saudi cover features a desert backdrop in KSA and represents not only the Kingdom’s beauty – but the limitless opportunities up for grabs. The caption also highlights an array of Saudi women – from HRH Princess Reema Bint Bandar Al Saud to Marriam Mossalli and Alaa Balkhy – a few of the publication’s newest contributing editors.

We are excited to see how Harper’s Bazaar Saudi will amplify the female Saudi voice and talent across both their digital and print publications.
