With lockdowns still persisting around the globe, Fashion Week – whose events are typically held across London, Milan, Paris, and New York – has had to go completely digital. This – however – has not stopped influencers from glamming up and participating in Fashion Week 2021.
Here’s how some Middle Eastern Influencers celebrated Fashion Week straight from their homes:
1. Negin Mirsalehi
Negin Mirsalehi – a Dutch-Iranian fashion influencer and founder of Gisou – shared a photo of herself in a beautiful off-white, embroidered Dior dress to her 6.3 million followers on Instagram – unveiling Dior’s AW21 collection. The influencer has previously worked with the luxury designer label and also attended the Christian Dior Spring/Summer show in 2020.
2. Karen Wazen
The Lebanese-British digital influencer and entrepreneur featured in the Miu Miu FW21 collection alongside her sister Jessica Wazen. Wazen also worked with Dior and Prada to promote their Fashion Week shows this year.
3. Hala Abdallah
Hala Abdallah is a Saudi influencer and founder of Ofa Official Jewelry. She has 2.5 million followers on Instagram and has worked with high-profile brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Tiffany & Co and Dior. Abdallah shared her Miu Miu outfit for the label’s fashion collection.
4. Rania Fawaz
Rania Fawaz – a Iraqi fashion influencer and blogger – shared her outfit from the Louis Vuitton fashion collection. Fawaz has a fanbase of over 929k followers and has worked with well-known brands such as Prada, Dior and Armani.
5. Nathalie Fanj
Lebanese influencer Nathalie Fanj shared her outfit for Ellie Saab’s fashion collection. Fanj has previously attended Paris Couture Week and worked with Carolina Herrera, Fenty Beauty and Prada.
