Amanda Cerny – an American model, actress, and content creator – will feature as a keynote speaker at the ITP Live 2021 Conference – ‘The Power of Female Influence’ – on March 30, 2021.
Cerny began her career as a model, but got her big break on Vine with her self-directed comedy sketches, which gained her over 4+ million followers on the platform. Since then, Cerny has written, directed, and produced over 3000 comedic sketches and music videos – which feature renowned celebrities and influencers including Logan Paul, King Bach, and Lele Pons. Cerny’s comedic posts on social media consistently draw in hundreds of thousands of likes on a daily basis:
Cerny has also established herself as a film and TV actress: the influencer has featured in television series such as Adam Devine’s House Party, Workaholics, and The Late Show with James Corden. She has also had roles in films such as Creed II and the Netflix Original Movie Internet fame. Moreover – Cerny’s content is not just limited to TV, film, and social media: she also runs a few successful podcasts including her Feels Good podcast which is co-hosted by Jacqueline Fernandez, a social media influencer with nearly 50 million followers on Instagram.
Moreover, Cerny takes the definition of influencer to a whole new level: in 2019, Cerny became an official United Nations Ambassador for Environment and Wildlife to support their global ‘Wild for Life’ campaign – which aimed to prevent wildlife crime and illegal trade. Cerny also co-hosted the United Nation’s ‘Play It Out’ Festival – which focused on raising awareness for plastic pollution – that same year.
Apart from her UN work, Cerny often uses her social media platform to discuss global issues: for example – in early February – Cerny tried to raise awareness for the Farmers Protest in India on her Instagram account.
