Jessica Kahawaty – a Dubai-based Lebanese model, philanthropist, angel investor, and food entrepreneur – will feature as a speaker for the Content Creator to CEO panel at the ITP Live 2021 Conference – ‘The Power of Female Influence’ – on March 30, 2021.
Kahawaty is most known for her global ambassadorships in fashion and beauty and her philanthropic endeavours. Having closely worked with the UN on raising humanitarian awareness through multiple trips to refugee camps, Kahawaty is the only model who currently sits on the UNICEF Leadership Council that seeks to ameliorate the status of children globally.
At the ITP Live Conference, Kahawaty -who won Miss World Australia in 2012 – will be discussing her journey founding Mama Rita, a food-delivery startup that she started with her mother Ria Kahawaty – which focuses on healthy, home-cooked meals that her mother specializes in.
Kahawaty will provide in-depth answers to questions that will ultimately inspire and guide other female founders to successfully start their own businesses. Topics for these questions include: her motivation in starting Mama Rita, her business model and scaling strategy, challenges she faced when scaling her startup, and her social media and content strategy for her startup.
Kahawaty will also delve into her angel investment portfolio, how she grew her personal brand on Instagram, and what obstacles she has faced as a female founder on social media.Â
