Emma Chamberlain – a 19-year-old American YouTuber – featured alongside American actor and singer Jaden Smith in Levi’s latest sustainability campaign Buy Better, Wear Longer.
Chamberlain shared her excitement over the collaboration and raised awareness on recycling clothes by sharing her love for thrift stores:
“thrifting has been my main resource to build my closet for YEARS. it’s sustainable, cost effective, and there’s something creative about it. when you look through a thrift store you’re working with nothing. you have to have an open mind and see the potential in the pieces. I love thinking about where this stuff has been before me”.
Jennifer Sey – the Brand President of Levi’s – appreciated Chamberlain and Smith’s participation in the campaign and their dedication in motivating viewers to reduce their carbon footprint:
“As a company that has celebrated pioneers and aspired to bring inventive environmental solutions to the market, we saw our voice in these young leaders. Change will come if we all work together and we’re humbled to partner with them in reducing our collective impact on the planet,”
