Connor Franta, a 28-year-old American YouTuber, has announced the upcoming launch of his third book House Fires. Franta’s third book will be published by Atria Books and is set to release on September 21.
Franta revealed that the upcoming poetry and photography novel was developed over the course of three years:
“I’ve spent the last three years pouring myself into my writing. It’s been brutally magnificent, and now it’s time to give the words to all of you. The 300 pages I’ve crafted include a bleeding collection of poetry, soulful narratives, and original film photography magnifying and emotional warfare found within my past, the daze of wandering through modern times in search of purpose, and the electricity flying from tomorrow’s potential. This is my new book, House Fires.”
House Fires follows his widely-acclaimed memoirs Note of Self and A Work in Progress that were released in 2017 and 2015 respectively. Note to Self was published by Simon & Schuster and was the 12th best-selling non-fiction novel in the New York Times. The memoir highlighted Franta’s struggle with depression, social anxiety, and more through poetry, stories, photographs, letters and essays. On the other hand, A Work in Progress was published by Atria/Keywords Press that talks about Franta’s childhood memories, future aspirations and his life at the time.
