American TikTok star Devon Rodriguez has officially signed with the UTA for representation in all areas. The UTA has previously worked with a wide variety of A-list celebrities in the past including Mark Ruffalo, Anderson Cooper, Alex Rodriguez and Jim Carrey.
Rodriguez shared his excitement over the new accomplishment and talked about how his struggle to build an online career:
“A year ago I was living in the South Bronx with my grandma struggling to find my way to stardom. On August 10th, 2020 I made my first viral video drawing strangers on the subway on @tiktok and life hasn’t been the same since. Today I’m so honored to announce that I’ve officially signed with @unitedtalent. Dream big!!!”
With over 17.4 and 2.1 million followers on TikTok and Instagram respectively, Rodriguez is well-known for his realistic drawings of subway passengers and recording their reactions to his artwork. His artwork has also been featured in renowned publications such as The New Yorker and The New York Times Style Magazine.
