Link To Hashtags and Other Accounts In Your Instagram Bio

It’s the little things in life that count…

While it might not seem like a big deal, we know some Insta-fans will be very excited to hear they can now link to a hashtag and/or other account within their bio. 

According to The Next Web when a user now goes to edit their profile and include a hashtag, Instagram will automatically turn it into a clickable hyperlink. The app will also suggest popular and trending hashtags as you type, and a user can link to profiles without having to include “http://instagram.com/” before the handle. 

This is big news for all users as it means Instagrammers are now able to direct their followers to other accounts and/or hashtags in their bio. 

The new feature has been rolled out worldwide (i.e. it’s available to users in the UAE) and is available to all users. When users open the app today, they will receive a notification informing them of the new update…

Instagram rarely changes features pertaining to users’ bios, so this is big news. The last time the photo-sharing app made an update to the bio features with the Stories Highlights it introduced back in December 2017.
