We all know how easy it can be easy to fall down the Insta-vortex, mindlessly scrolling through post after post for hours.
Instagram is now committed to putting a stop to it.
The Facebook-owned photo-sharing platform has revealed that it will soon roll out a new usage tool, that will help users keep track of how much time they spend on the app.

Developers had been anticipating this new feature for some time – and last week Instagram’s CEO Kevin Systrom confirmed it’s a go.
According to The Verge Systrom later confirmed the original report in a series of tweets, commenting that the company is . . . “building tools that will help the IG community know more about the time they spend on Instagram — any time should be positive and intentional.”
