8 Instagrammable Things To Do in Dubai This December

Now that National Day and the Grand Prix have come and gone, we find ourselves in December.

2019 has flown by (along with the five day weekend), but we;

If the end of the year fear is beginning to set in then below are 10 ways to spend your last month of the year in Dubai to make sure you end the year on a high.

Check Out A Performance At Dubai Opera

There are an array of shows on throughout the month beginning with The Nutcracker from the 4th – 7th and Jingle Bell Favourites 12th-14th at the Dubai Opera. At Fairmonth The Palm is showcasing a pantomime version of Cinderella from the 18th – 27th of the month, ensuring there really is a show for every age this December.

The Irish Village Christmas Tree Lighting 

For a little festive spirit the Irish Village are hosting their annual Christmas Tree Light Up Party on the 11th December. Complete with carol singing from St Mary’s Church Choir and Dubai Duty Free choir and free mince pies, what more could you want from a Wednesday evening?

The Urban Outdoor Cinema at Habtoor Grand

Watching a film at an outdoor cinema is always a lovely way to spend an evening.

Showing every Saturday, Sunday and Monday with a start time of 7.30pm, the Urban Outdoor Cinema at Habtoor Grand will be showcasing classics such as Dirty Dancing, Clueless, The Notebook and, of course, as the month goes on more festive films like Home Alone and Elf. So pick a film, book your tickets, purchase some snacks and pick up a blanket to enjoy a movie under the stars this December.

From Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th December, LUVYA festival will be taking place at FIVE Palm Jumeriah. The event will see performances from Craig David, Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, Disciples and Madds which are enough to have your purchasing your tickets right how. Yet the three day festival will also have an array of music, food and art experiences to make the weekend unforgettable.

Dubai Shopping Festival

Shopping, festival, combine those two things and you have the Dubai shopping festival. From the 26th December until the 1st February (yes you read that right) there will be weeks of amazing discounts, competitions, raffles, concerts, firework displays and pop-up events, helping make the start of 2020 a whole lot better.

CÉ LA VI Dubai

The renowned CÉ LA VI in Singapore is coming to Dubai and will be opening at Address Sky View. Offer unparalleled views across the city, the venire will be home to a pool, restaurant, sky bar, club lounge and contemporary Asian cuisine. We recommend keeping an eye out for the official launch date so you can book before the crowds.

Pay A Visit to Sonara Camp

If you want to escape Dubai for a few hours this month but not go too far and don’t want a staycation, the Sonara Camp has the answer. After recently launching their new dining experience, this will be an evening like no other.

Situated in the Dubai Desert Conservation, the eco-friendly restaurant concept is the first permanent and licensed one of its kind in Dubai. Party It Up On New Year’s Eve

The sheer amount of options of where to spend the final evening of 2019 is overwhelming.
