Facebook is testing a 'Hit Me Up' Sticker for Stories

As messaging and internet use continue to rise globally due to COVID-19 lockdowns, Facebook is working on implementing a new ‘Hit Me Up’ Sticker which aims to encourage engagement between users on a more personal level.

Reverse engineering expert Jane Manchun Wong shared an example of what this feature would most likely look like. No doubt, this sticker would increase messaging on the app and faciliate more personal conversation which would contrinute to more users on the app overall.

According to Social Media Today, “Given the current focus on direct engagement tools, it seems likely that we’ll see these options roll out sooner, rather than later. And from a brand and marketing perspective, that could also mean that you’ll soon have another CTA prompt to help advance connection with potential clients.”
