Dubai – based social media influencer and internet sensation Farhana Bodi made a fashion statement in a stunning neon train gown at the 76th Cannes Festival.
Every Cannes, Bodi receives an invitation to promote luxury brands and hotels. And every year she sets the red carpet on fire with her staggering looks.
On the opening night of the festival, she chose a bow-laden gown from Dubai-based fashion house Atelier Zuhra.
“The opening night where I wore this vibrant and daring gown was brilliant. I am daring in terms of my personality, and I am particular that all my looks will stand out and blow everyone’s minds. So there’s pressure and fun to be had,” said Bodi.
“It has always been a dream since I was a young girl to glide down the red carpet, and for the last few years, I have been living that childhood fantasy. It’s such a beautiful experience, and I can never get tired of this,” said Bodi in an interview.
Bodi is an Indian-born self-made millionaire, social media star, entrepreneur, travel fan, and a mom-of-one. She has lived in South Africa previously and now calls Dubai her home.
With over 2.6 million Instagram followers, she is a frequent face for high-end brands, creating an envious wardrobe.
She continues by saying that there is a lot of pressure to pick the ideal red-carpet outfit each evening. Her rigorous collaboration with regional and international designers has resulted in an outstanding fashion diary this year (just like every other year).
Farhana has been a popular figure at Cannes since 2017, eliminating 2020 due to COVID-19 – making this year her 6th appearance.
