The virtual and Sci-Fi world of Hollywood is coming to the big screen but this time, it is produced, filmed by Arabs. For the first time ever, Light Engine Studio has combined 3D and 4DX filmmaking techniques to produce the first 7D movie in Arab cinema called “The Last Meteor”, marking this film as a huge milestone for everyone involved in it.
Celebrated Lebanese actor Jad Abu Ali posted the trailer on his official Instagram and showed his fans a glimpse of his upcoming project:
The events of the movie take place in an apocalyptic setting, with the actors forming some sort of “dream team” to weather the storm and survive the meteor and robot invasion that is upon them; the plot and visuals are also very reminiscent of most Hollywood movies these past couple of years. Jad also shared his enthusiasm in the caption in which he says:
We’ll be the ones starting the next battle.
Alhamdulillah.. More than a year and a half of preparation, filming, fatigue and efforts with a team that is the best and strongest in terms of production, production and morals.. Here is the final result!
I share with you the joy of releasing the official trailer of the first work of its kind in the Arab world! Stay tuned for the release date.
While we’re still not sure when the innovative work will be out, do you think an Arab Sci-Fi movie such as this upcoming one can compete with Hollywood productions? Watch the trailer and share your thoughts by tweeting us @itpliveme!
