While 2023 was a banner year for video games, with the release of Baldur’s Gate 3, Diablo 4, Final Fantasy 16, Starfield, Street Fighter 6, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, 2024 is already shaping up to be an equal match. Star Wars Outlaws, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth are among the new releases, as are big expansions for Destiny 2 games, Final Fantasy 14 games, and World of Warcraft.

If Nintendo delivers its Switch replacement, which is expected in the second half of the year, 2024 might be even bigger.

While video game release dates are constantly changing, Polygon’s guide to the latest video games coming out in 2024 will be updated on a daily basis with new games, release dates, and inevitable delays. Here’s a look at what titles are coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox Series X, and other current gaming platforms this year.
