The new iOS16 update preview just dropped and it’s safe to say that the world is satisfied and excited.
Many new features of the update are definitely improvements to be happy about. Apple is giving users the tools to change lock screen, home screen and settings according to their needs.

- Lock screen editing – customize your lock screen’s fonts, pictures and colors
- Multilayer time – objects in photos can be dynamically displayed above the time and the time font can be changed

- ‘Live Activities’ – help you stay on tasks on your lock screen
- Astronomy – see the solar systems live on lock screen
- Notifications – choose the view of your notifications between stacked, list or count view
- Focus – focus feature improved – removes distracting content, allowing certain apps to be silenced, and set boundaries in-app
- iCloud sharing – smart sharing, suggestions and editing libraries
- Messages – edit or unsend a message for up to 15 minutes after it was sent
- SharePlay via messages – movies, music, games and more
- Mark a message as unread to read later
- Collaboration projects in messages – share files, keynote, safari, page, notes and more
- Mail – schedule emails to be sent, reminders for emails and follow up access
- Safari – share group tabs for multiple people to build ideas and pin tabs
- ‘Passkeys‘ – instead of passwords as a safer way to log in and combat website leaks
- Live text – now available in pause videos to copy or edit text
- “Hey Siri, Hang Up” – to hang up the phone, may be new iconic line
- Dictation – automatic punctuation
- Maps – add transit cards to wallet and calculates fares for journey
- Wallet – Apple pay in payments over time in four equal payments over 6 weeks time
- Health – track medications, med reminders, and sharer health with others
- Fitness – new fitness app for all users
