Currently, the atmosphere on Twitter resembles the final moments of the Titanic, where the available lifeboats are insufficient for all individuals to evacuate.
Bluesky Social, a new app similar to Twitter, is being compared to a lifeboat in this situation. It has garnered positive feedback from users, despite its somewhat peculiar data collection policies. However, accessing and using Bluesky is not as straightforward as one might expect. In order to join, individuals must obtain a code, and here’s an explanation of how that process unfolds.

Currently, there are two primary methods to gain access to Bluesky. The first approach is relatively straightforward but requires patience. It involves signing up on Bluesky‘s website and joining the waitlist, awaiting an invitation. While it may not be the most enjoyable option, it remains the only reliable way to enter Bluesky, unless you have a personal connection.
The second way to gain entry is by knowing someone who is already using Bluesky. Existing users receive one code per week that they can share with others. However, it’s important to note that most existing Bluesky users likely receive numerous requests for codes from friends, making it challenging to secure one.
Nevertheless, the most probable scenario is that, like everyone else, you will have to wait for your invitation. Hopefully, Twitter will still be functioning by the time you receive it.
