The caffeine-fueled cooperation of Gen Z’s dreams has arrived. On Wednesday, 818 Tequila and Chamberlain Coffee, created by model Kendall Jenner and YouTuber and businesswoman Emma Chamberlain, respectively, unveiled a limited-edition collaboration that features tequila as the star of the ever-popular Espresso Martini.
As part of the collaboration, Chamberlain Coffee released Candied Pecan Cold Brew Singles, which were inspired by the flavors of 818 Tequila Reposado. The ground coffee, priced at $16 a box of ten packets, with undertones of candied pecan and maple. The firm claims it can be consumed on its own or mixed into a Espresso Martini.
“Working with Kendall and 818 on this was such a blast,” Chamberlain stated in a press statement. “The whole thing came together organically because we adore one other and Espresso Martinis with Tequila. We experimented and came up with a unique Espresso Martini that we are confident people would enjoy.”
Fans may also buy a limited-edition Espresso Martini Kit Bundle on Chamberlain Coffee’s website beginning today. The kit ($72) includes ten single-serve Candied Pecan Cold Brew Singles, a co-branded cocktail shaker, and a Martini glass. Each item in the package, including an 818 Tequila x Chamberlain Coffee baby-tee, is also available for purchase separately.
The marketers recommend pairing the new coffee with 818 Reposado, a coffee liqueur, and a touch of simple syrup. From April 24 to April 28, Espresso Martini fans in Los Angeles and New York City can try the recipe for themselves: the 818 x Chamberlain cocktail will be available on menus at select restaurants in both cities, including LAVO Los Angeles, Belles Beach House, Elephante, Little Ruby’s, Dudley’s, Happiest Hour, and more.
“I’m so happy that 818 is collaborating with Chamberlain, Emma and I have been wanting our brands to do something fun together,” Jenner stated in the press statement. “We’re not only creating something delicious — we’re settling the debate, once and for all, that Espresso Martinis taste best when they’re made with tequila.”
