Arab influencer and social media star Mohammed Tarek joins the new major animation film DC League of Super Pets as Aquaman.
The film that is set to release on the 28th July 2022 in the UAE, follows the journey of Krypto the Super-dog who is very good friends with Superman. Both share powers to save the city by fighting crime until Superman and the rest of the League are kidnapped.
Mohammed Tarek is not only a talented social media star but also a comedian who shares his videos across his channels with 2.3 million followers on Instagram. Being part of the Arabic version of the film, Tarek says “I never imagined that I would one day join a DC film, and to bring it to the region too. Getting to voice the role of Aquaman has been incredibly fun, I can’t wait to see how audiences react to this super funny film in the Middle East.”
Other characters in the film are played by Hesham El SHazly who plays Krypto the protagonist, Nasser Shaheen as Ace The Hound, Aya Hamza as Lulu, and finally Ranni El Khatib as Krypto’s sidekick, Superman.
Nine-year-old Leya Maljo who resides in the UAE said “Being part of the movie and joining the DC League of Super Pets is a dream come true. It was an incredible experience that I’ve told nearly everyone I know about.”
League of Super Pets will be released tomorrow in cinemas across the Middle East so make sure you book in. It may be the best children’s film of the year!
