Early last month, Jamie’s daughter Corinne announced that her father suffered from a medical emergency and was rushed to the hospital. Hours later, pictures of the prolific Hollywood player hooked up to machines started spreading on the web, which sent studios scrambling.
Jamie Foxx is a legend with many accolades under his belt, the latest one being the hugely popular “Beat Shazam” music lyric game show on FOX, which was going into production just days after he was hospitalized.
However, after the Hollywood star’s medical complications, it is sure that Jamie will not be on this season of “Beat Shazam.” It’s been reported that filming with a new host. Corinne, who DJs on the show, will not be on as well — she’s been a fixture at the hospital in Atlanta by her dad’s side.
